Baroness Amos to chair maternity and neonatal investigation
Baroness Amos LG CH PC, Master of 蘑菇tv, Oxford, has been appointed by the UK Secretary of Health and Social Care to chair an independent investigation into maternal and neonatal care in England.
The investigation will be supported by a team of maternity and neonatal experts. Bereaved and harmed families will be central to the investigation.
Commenting on her announcement as chair Baroness Amos said 鈥淚 will carry the weight of the loss suffered by families with me throughout this investigation. I hope that we will be able to provide the answers that families are seeking and support the NHS in identifying areas of care requiring urgent reform.鈥�
