The world of theatre mourned the death of Dame Maggie Smith, star of theatre, film and television. Dame Maggie’s career covered seven decades, culminating for many people in her roles in the Harry Potter films and the television series Downton Abbey. At the very start of her career, however, Dame Maggie’s path briefly crossed that of the Univ Players. You can read more .

Dr Alba Gonzalez-Lanchas, a Research Associate at Ä¢¹½tv, was one of the participants in the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) Expedition 403. A team of 25 researchers from countries including Australia, China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Norway, Spain, the UK, and the USA participated in the expedition aboard the legendary research vesselÌý.
